Leadville has been on my radar for a couple of year now, ever sine Lance started racing. Last year they even showed a Leadville doc (‘Race the Sky’) at the Red Deer Famous Players. The only issue with that race is that it A. is more of a prestige/experience race (doesn’t count for points that matter in my world right now and B. is a lottery entrance system, and is difficult to plan around because of that fact. That said, yes, I could see myself doing it after 2012 – maybe make a fun trip out of it with a couple of friends (hint).

Hey Ryan, you ever think about racing Leadville? A guy in RDFD raced it last year and said he had to put his name in a draw early in the year. Think you could be Levi’s new record time? You would look good with that belt buckle!

Thanks Ryan, there’s not much one can do at this time of year about getting outside but wait and stay tuned.

Glad to hear that you are well into recovery from the long ride inside. A long spin inside for me is 2 hours!

Hey David! Thanks for checking back in. The two biggest responses were for a Women’s only camp near Sylvan Lake and the Jasper to Banff ride. Right now I am looking into insurance costs, and seeing if I can work some sort of deal through the gym that I help manage. Stay tuned…

Ryan, you sent out a survey a while back about doing some clinics with choices ranging from a Jasper to Banff romp to a 3 day mountain bike camp in Canmore. Are you going to run any of these? The Jasper to Banff ride would be a great way to support you (sure we’d pay a little extra for your time to organise it) and see some great country.

I like the design and will probably pick one up either way. Any chance of a semi dri-fit material for us fitness peeps? otherwise looks great. A bit more “cycling” art wouldn’t hurt but thats just my personal preference. Hope things are good Ryan!

Every Monday, unless the weather is horrible or I’m away racing (which shouldn’t stop people from showing up anyway). I have been consistent…no one has shown up yet (despite wanting to). I think that the later time will help.
